Vulcan

Vulcan provides advice to airlines, airports, aircraft and engine manufacturers, tour operators, government agencies, regulatory authorities and investors on all aspects of the civil aviation industry.

Vulcan’s approach is based on economic understanding. Its recommendations are commercial and fact-based. The firm combines technical knowledge and managerial experience to devise practical solutions to complex problems.

Vulcan’s people come mainly from senior management positions in aviation and related activities but their experience includes work in other industrial sectors, management consultancy and in government. Vulcan’s understanding of more purely aviation issues is complemented and supported by its knowledge of general business problems and of regulatory framework within which the industry operates.

More specifically, Vulcan’s staff are experienced in the master planning of airports and the rail and road infrastructure problems connected with them. They also have a detailed and analytical understanding of airline and airport operations.

Assignments range from strategic planning for national aviation to recommendations for the improvement of performance in narrowly defined areas of activity.
